Ingredients
- 1kg apples-quice apple peeled,cored,quartered
- 8 cups water
- salt
- 8 green cardamoms
- 4 dalchini sticks
- 1/2 tspnhaldi pd
- 11/2 tbspnonion paste(fried)
- 100 gms,tamarind -imli 1/2 cup water...strained
- 2tspn red chilli pd dissolved in 1/2cup water
- 2-3 tble spn oil
- 1/2 cup mawal-water (for color)
- 1/4 blk cumin seeds

1..Fry apples till reddish brown,keep aside,
2…In a pan bring water to boil,add salt,grn cadamoms,cinnamon stcks,haldi,onion paste…nd imli.boil untill water is reducedto half.
3….add fried apples,red cilli water nd oil…cover nd cook till apples r soft but yet retain their shape..add mawal water (optional)sprinkle zeera..
