Ingredients
6 cups water, salt to taste, 1 tsp green tea, 1½ cups milk, a pinch of baking soda, 1 tbsp cream.

Preparation

  1. Put water, tea and soda or baking soda in samovar.
  2. Now put in five or six large live charcoals in the funnel and allow the tea to boil.
  3. Now add another cup of water and boil till only a little is left.
  4. Next, add four cups of water and salt to taste.
  5. After this has boiled for a few minutes, the colour of the tea will become redish pink.
  6. Pour in the milk.

Do not cover the tea while it is cooking. When it has boiled for some time, take it off the fire. If you do not have a samovor, you can brew this tea in a bhogona or pan.
