Ingredients
  • 4 cups full cream milk
  • 1/4 tspn saffron
  • 4 tbspn semolina (washed)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Khoya (mava)
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 tspn kewda essence
  • 1 1/1 tbspn cashew nuts chopped
  • 1 1/1 tbspn pistachio chopped.
Cuisine: Cooking time: 15 mins Serving: 2 people

(Phirnee)

  1. Boil full cream milk and saffson together, stirring all the time for 3-4 mins.
  2. To the boiling milk, add the semolina and stir continously, until the milk thicken to a sauce like consistency.
  3. Add the sugar, whole milk fudge or sweetened condensed milk. and kewra water and cook it further for 2-3 mins.
  4. Cool and pour in small serving bowls and garnish with chashew nuts and pistachios.
  5. Keep in refrigerator to set and serve chilled.
